Link between Bogus Transnational Tamil Asylum Factories and abuse of Canadian Refugee program?

Canadian scholar Dr. Neville Hewage reveals Link between Bogus Transnational Tamil Asylum Factories and abuse of Canadian Refugee program in a rebuttal against a petition submitted by MP Gary Anandasangaree.²  Anandasangaree is the son of Veerasingham Anandasangaree in Sri Lanka who is a leading Sri Lankan Tamil politician, former Member of Parliament and leader of the Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) . In 2007, he authored an article titled “Prabakaran should be held responsible for the deaths of over 70,000 people in Sri Lanka“ ¹ In 2014, a statement by Anandasangaree³ mentioned that in 1980 his mother split with his father and lived in Ireland (1980-1983)before arriving to Canada to take advantage of Canada’s asylum system 1983. It was unclear of the exact reason of why someone residing in Ireland would claim refugee in Canada stating issues in Sri Lanka. In the same statement, he mentioned his critical role in the Canadian Tamil Congress (CTC)⁴. CTC is a banned terrorist front Organization in Sri Lanka. In Canada according to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, CTC argues that the allegations of fundraising activities by the LTTE in Canada were untrue5 even after a scathing report by Human Rights Watch⁵.
