History of TGTE
TGTE is born after the defeat of the LTTE which terrorized Sri Lanka, India and the South East Asian region for 30 years. LTTE, which was the most dangerous and deadly extremists in the world as per FBI, had build the most sophisticated terror network the world had ever seen with land, sea and air forces and international network of drug dealing, arms smuggling and human trafficking. It killed one Sri Lankan President and maimed another, killed a former Indian Prime Minister and a host of other leaders. No other terror organization of the recent history has come close to LTTE, not even ISIS.
The defeat of LTTE is a collaboration of Sri Lanka, India, US and the rest of the world. Although it is destroyed in Sri Lanka, the sophisticated networks it built overseas and the funds stashed away remained intact. With the funds and voting power, frontal organizations of LTTE had managed to buy political power and manipulate public opinion in the West.
TGTE is the front end of this vast terror network. They are unable to do any terror activities at the moment but continues to radicalize the next generation waiting for the opportunity. They have never denounced terrorism or the LTTE and continue to commemorate LTTE initiated ceremonies to glorify terror.
TGTE is just waiting for an opportunity to continue what LTTE started.
The real question is why they should NOT be banned!!!
It should be noted that that Canadian freedom of rights and most western countries allow for non-violent separatist movements, which has been an item of the master plan of LTTE’s post conflict strategy to manipulate western rights and freedoms. The difference is that TGTE try to stay within the letter but not definitely not in the spirit of non-violent movements.
This is the British Government’s Standards to identify terrorist groups and how TGTE measures up against ISIS Standards for proscribing terrorist organizations (Proscribed Terrorist Organizations – British Home Office 1)
TGTE fits squarely into the above classification!
Some banned terrorist groups (other than ISIS / Al-Qaeda affiliated) in Canada 5.
· World Tamil Movement – A front organization of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE)
· International Sikh Youth Federation – Wants to create Khalisthan in India
· Babbar Khalsa International – Wants to create Khalisthan in India
· Kurdistan Workers’ Party – Wants to create a separate state for Kurds
All these groups have the same agenda as TGTE; to promote terror to split up another country.
