Sri Lankan Canadian Action Coalition Ontario Bill 104

United Sri Lankan Canadian platform to deliver actions!

UK has NOT lifted the ban on LTTE Tamil Terrorists!

Toronto 21.10.2020 – Back in December 2018, the Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) filed an appeal against the proscription of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE) 1

British lawmakers delivered a verdict today to ALLOW FOR THE APPEAL ON THE BASIS THAT THE DECISION TAKEN IS FLAWED. Many pro-LTTE elements are seen prematurely celebrating the incorrect interpretation of the complicated verdict delivered today. Internal sources with key knowledge of the issue re-affirms Briton’s position on counter terrorism measures and acknowledged the atrocities committed by LTTE as unforgivable. The verdict also state that in paragraph 117 that there are no 3rd grounds to appeal.

ABOUT THE TRANSNATIONAL GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL EELAM (TGTE):
TGTE was formed by former LTTE operatives once the LTTE was militarily defeated and proscribed around the world. While functionally and conceptually same, TGTE takes the form a human rights advocacy in the shadow of atrocities committed in Sri Lanka for the 26 year civil war in Sri Lanka. To this date, key cadres of the LTTE roams freely.

In Canada, a movement has started to re-evaluate the terrorists past and have them be accountable for the atrocities committed. Website called www.BanTGTE.ca was launched to support that cause.
