Gloriosa superba: Toxic flower being used to pay tribute to deadly LTTE Tamil Terrorists!

By R. Jayamaha, Toronto

According to pro-LTTE Tamil Terrorist sympathizers, this flower represents individuals who sacrificed their lives in the Tamil liberation struggle. They are known as the heroes who fought for freedom with the Sri Lankan state.

Gloriosa superba is also the national flower of Zimbabwe and the state flower of Tamil Nadu, in India. This flower is known too poisonous and toxic to human beings and animals for consumption. It has been commonly used to achieve suicide and to kill animals. Each individual part of the plant is known to be poisonous, especially the tuberous rhizomes of the plant.

However, the Tamil Terrorist Diaspora uses this flower as a tribute for the individuals of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), a proscribed terrorist organization in 32 countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and several other European nations.

The LTTE Tamil Terrorist members are responsible for massacring thousands of innocent Sri Lankan civilians from 1983-2009. This includes massacring Sinhalese villagers (such as slicing babies and pregnant women to death during their sleep), attacking Muslim worshippers at the Kattankudy mosque in Batticaloa (such as shoving a gun into the mouth of a Muslim worshiper and pulling the trigger) and point-blank shooting the Sinhalese, Muslim and Tamil civilians of Sri Lanka. Not only that, they are also responsible for carrying out suicide bomb attacks even outside the war zone in public places, against innocent Sri Lankan civilians. LTTE Tamil Terrorists are world renowned for their own suicide cadre wing that included individuals who were willing to commit suicide while killing innocent individuals around them as well. This technique is now being copied by other terrorist organizations in the world such as ISIS to achieve the same objective. Glorification of suicide is not anything new to the LTTE Tamil Terrorists. According to so-called TGTE (Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam) Prime Minister and former LTTE’s International legal counselor and political advocate, Visuvanathan Rudrakumaran, “This thing is, in our (Tamil) society, sacrifice is considered a highest form. People look at the bomber and say he’s willing to give his life”. In other words, there is no remorse shown for the innocent victims who die as a result of the bomber’s actions, but rather, the bomber himself/herself is glorified. This is the type of self-destructive and extremely dangerous psychology that runs in the DNA of the LTTE Tamil Terrorists. Therefore, glorification of suicide bombers is the epitome of glorifying self-destructive behaviour such as committing suicide.

Gloriosa superba, in this instance, signifies the same message: the glorification of suicide. This is exactly what the LTTE cadres did. Yet, they didn’t die alone, they made sure everyone around; the innocent Sri Lankan civilians, died along with them as well. The Indian Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi’s death was caused by a female LTTE suicide bomber. These violent actions against innocent civilians, including an Indian Prime Minister, and the self-destructive behaviour of committing suicide by these Tamil Terrorists, are glorified and proudly symbolized by the very same flower, Gloriosa superba, which can also be used as a form of self-destruction, if needed. The encouragement of violence and self-destructive behaviour such as committing suicide, is one of the main pillars of LTTE Tamil Terrorism that lasted for 26 years. Unfortunately, innocent Sri Lankan civilians largely paid the heavy price for these selfish actions. Thanks to the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, a single LTTE Tamil Terrorist suicide attack has not occurred in Sri Lanka, since 2009.

The Britain’s Houses of Parliament in Westminster, Central London, was lit with the
Gloriosa superba to mark, Maaveerar Naal, the day of Tamil Terrorist glorification, on November 26th, 2020. This is considered to be the national flower of Tamil Eelam, the mono-ethnic and separatist state, the LTTE Tamil

Terrorists attempted to create by waging a war for 26 years against the innocent Sri Lankan civilians.

Despite the symbolism of suicide and Tamil Terrorist glorification behind the flower, the British Parliament went ahead and chose to light their House of Parliament to pay respect to members of a proscribed terrorist organization, that is banned on British soil. At some point, you start to question the integrity or perhaps even the naivety, of the British Parliament and its double standards, when it comes to dealing with terrorism.

If the UK House of Parliament chooses to coddle with Tamil Terrorist sympathizers, they should also keep in mind, that there are detrimental effects of supporting a proscribed terrorist organization such as the LTTE Tamil Terrorists, in the long run. What the Western world fails to understand is that the LTTE is the ISIS of South Asia. LTTE Tamil Terrorists members are no different in comparison to the members of the Islamic State of Syria. We wonder whether it would be too late to do damage control, someday these Western governments sympathizing Tamil Terrorists realize this very same thing.
