History
Sri Lankan government forces experienced a 26 year armed insurgency with the ruthless Tamil Terrorists (LTTE). LTTE was responsible for using child soldiers, animals, women to conduct and further their cause for a second Tamil home land state in Sri Lanka similar to the Tamil Nadu in India. The Thunukkai Torture Camp was used to torture all ethnicities as needed by the Indian born leader Vellupillai Prabhakeran. Many Tamil refugees escaped to western world and started a world movement of pro-LTTE ideology to pressure the foreign policy of residing countries, attempting to erase the history of suffering of Sinhalese, Muslims and all other ethnicities at the hands of Tamil LTTE terrorists. It is known that pro-LTTE diaspora approach many back bench politicians in many countries with the proven false pretenses of “Tamil Vote”.
